REPAIRS : GILBERT GOTTLIEB REPINS IDC AND MOLEX CONNECTORS.

My friend Gilbert Gottlieb (Heath) shows how to repin Molex and IDC connectors on a pinball machine.  Repinning connectors are needed when the game starts resetting or things stop working due to burning of the plastic housing of the connector.

I also saw in the video that Gilbert was using a standard IDC connector punch tool and a hammer to drive in the wires to those IDC connectors.

I actually use a punch down impact tool that is used for telecom phone or network lines within a data network. The tool works well and gives you more of an impact pushing in the wire to the IDC connector.
