RESTORATION : STERNS BATMAN 66 : CONVERTING A PREMIUM MODEL TO AN SUPER LIMITED EDITION : VIDEO
Recently I acquired a Batman 66 Prem from a user on Pinside. The game came with some of the mods that are present on the SLE version. The one big thing the game did come with was the cabinet art from an SLE which is almost impossible to obtain. Also the user had the speakers, wire form ramp and some other things that can be used on the SLE version. Everything the seller had was installed as were the other things needed to be purchased to finish the project.
The Mod Couple makes some great mods for the game such as the penguin umbrella, atomic pile, mylar decal for magnet, lighted bat phone, rocks for spinner, and batmobile diecast plate. Thanks to the Mod Couple for executing the great ideas into the game and being so gracious with the donation of a couple of their mods for the project. Visit the Mod Couple website below.
Thanks to Cliffy and his crew for always making great protectors for all the games on the market. Cliffy is a man to thank for keeping these games protected. Visit his website at
Thanks to Pinball Refinery for the great powder coating of all the armor on the game. Steve and his crew did a wonderful job on all the armor installed into the game. The pieces that were powder coated look beautiful. The pieces looked so good that I had my Star Wars Prem powder coated in the same fashion as Batman 66 (black armor with the speckled glitter).
