UNBOXING : STERN’S IRON MAIDEN LE UNBOXING, ARTWORK, REVIEW, AND GAMEPLAY VIDEO.
Stern’s newest game Iron Maiden LE has been unboxed, played, and reviewed. Wow, what a game. I played Iron Maiden Pro a bunch of times and liked it. I was still on the fence about really liking the game with the possibly of owning one. Well, after playing the LE my opinion has changed. What a fantastic game. Artwork, rules, game play, etc, Iron Maiden LE is the full package. Probably in my opinion one of Stern’s best.
Say what you will about the the theme and music of Iron Maiden. I grew up listening to Iron Maiden so the two elements listed above do not bother me. Actually I think the theme fits with the Egyptian visuals drawn on the playfield. The Iron Maiden and Eddie theme fits the stages and rule sets throughout the game. While playing the game, you barely hear the music due to the on going, high adrenaline rush gameplay being presented to the player. The layout, rule set and artwork all tie in to one another. Toys on the playfield are baron, but the features such as the sarcophagus, the raising guard and the newton ball just add to the player’s experience.
The Keith Elwin team at Stern created a gem with Iron Maiden LE. Zombie Yetti designed and imagined a beautiful artwork package where instead of playing the game you just want to stare at the beauty of the pinball machine. I feel Stern hit a home run with this game. Nice job Stern. Keep games like this coming from the factory.
